- Have you looked at the CDROM contents closely? I think the
- Scribble tutorial is excellent for learning MFC and the IDE with
- its Wizards -- although it's not much for learning C++. If you're
- into database access (who isn't these days) both Enroll and
- daoEnroll should fill your needs.

- Recently I pointed out the Scribble tutorial to a coworker of
- mine with very little C++ experience and only moderate C.
- He certainly took off like a rocket after completing it.

- BTW, if you are thorough, and actually do all the work, it will
- take most of a week to complete all the tutorials. It's possible
- to reduce that time considerably but the learning experience
- will be lessened accordingly. The time spent in doing the
- full tutorials pays off dividends on the long run.
